OREGON CITY, Ore. — February 23, 2017 — Fresh off a record-setting 2016 season, Clackamas Repertory Theatre has announced a diverse slate of three shows for its 2017 season: “Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery,” June 29 – July 23; Irving Berlin’s “The Melody Lingers On,” Aug. 3-27; and, “Tigers Be Still,” Sept. 7 – Oct. 1.
“Clackamas Rep’s new season has something for everyone: A comedic mystery full of unexpected plot twists; a rollicking musical packed with familiar tunes; and an offbeat comedy from an up-and-coming playwright,” said Artistic Director David Smith-English. “We’re excited to share our unique take on these wonderful shows.”
Theatre fans can save 20% by purchasing a CRT Season Pass, which includes one ticket to each of the three shows. Season Pass tickets are $75 for Adults, $72 for Seniors (67+) and $30 for Youth (6-25). Tickets can be purchased at www.clackamasrep.org/tickets-events/season-pass/ or by calling (503) 594-6047. Current box office telephone hours are Tuesday – Friday, 1-5pm.
To enhance the audience’s understanding and enjoyment of the shows, Clackamas Rep is continuing its popular series of post-show opening night receptions and post-show actor/director talkbacks, Smith-English said. Opening night receptions provide ticketholders with the opportunity to enjoy dessert and champagne with actors and artistic staff following the show. Interactive talkback sessions, held after the second, third and fourth Friday evening performances of each show, enable ticketholders to talk with the director and actors to learn more about the production.
All performances take place at Osterman Theatre in Oregon City. Show times are Thursday – Saturday at 7:30pm, with 2:30pm Sunday matinees.
