Clackamas Rep’s children’s theater series, Wing It, continues April 22

OREGON CITY – Clackamas Repertory Theatre continues the “Wing It” series, an interactive show for children, with a performance on Saturday morning, April 22, in the Osterman Theatre in Oregon City.

As with all episodes there is a lesson to be learned. The forest friends will retell the story of “Three Billy Goats Gruff.” Audiences will be asked for clever solutions to help the characters face challenges head on. Help the woodland characters find their way through the forest, over the bridge and back home while solving some conundrums along the way.

This performance will feature guest artist Molly Bowman. Bowman is currently the artist in residence for the Clackamas Community College Theatre Department and played Annelle in CRT’s production of “Steel Magnolias.” As always, there will be singing, dancing, and a talent show, a chance for the kids to come up to the stage for their moment in the spotlight.

“Wing It,” created for children from 2 to 10-years-old, is fun for all ages. It is developed and directed by Travis Nodurft, Clackamas Rep company member, professional clown and Oregon City sixth-grade teacher.

Show dates of the season are April 22, June 3, September 30, and December 2 and 9. All performances begin at 10:30am and take place in the Osterman Theatre in the Niemeyer Center on the campus of Clackamas Community College. Admission is $5 at the door. There is no reserved seating.
