Shows will also feature an appearance by a jolly, bearded special guest
OREGON CITY, Ore. — November 16, 2016 — Clackamas Repertory Theatre’s “Wing It” series of interactive shows for children celebrates the holiday season with Dec. 3 and 10 performances of “A Christmas Carol.” Both Saturday shows begin at 10:30am in the Osterman Theatre in Oregon City. Admission is $5 at the door; there is no reserved seating.
The December episode of “Wing It” is a holiday celebration as audience members join the forest friends in a special retelling of “A Christmas Carol.” Do you celebrate winter holidays? What kind of holiday traditions do you share with your family and friends? Children in the audience will have fun helping the forest friends answer these questions and many more.
As always, there will be singing, dancing and a talent show – a chance for the kids to get on stage for their moment in the spotlight. A special jolly, bearded holiday guest (any guess who that might be?) will also make an appearance.
Created for children 2 to 10 years of age, “Wing It” is fun for all ages. It’s developed and directed by Travis Nodurft, a Clackamas Rep company member, professional clown and Oregon City sixth grade teacher.
Show dates for the 2017 season are Feb. 11, April 22, and June 10. All performances begin at 10:30am and take place in the Niemeyer Center on the campus of Clackamas Community College. For more information and show updates, visit www.clackamasrep.org.
