This classic British farce has left audiences exhausted with laughter since its 1945 London debut in the midst of bombing and air raids. With all the comic elements of mistaken identities, spills, chases and the resulting mayhem, it has since become a staple in the American repertoire as well.

Of the 2006 London revival one critic wrote: “People are in a near constant state of collapse and that’s just the audience. The show induces a state of delirium comparable only to Noises Off.”
